Kelley, Peter C. ~ With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Peter C. His greatest love and devotion was to his cherished family. He is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Connie (Dykens); his sons, Greg (Lorry Anne); Brad (Tracey); and his adored grandchildren, Liam, Patrick, Aiden, Keirsten and Brennan; his immediate family, Anne Church, Marion Kelley, Leona Marr and Maxine (Bryant) Lunn; as well as several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Norris & Ethel (Leighton) Kelley. In his younger years he coached Windsor Minor Hockey and Baseball. He was a cub and boy scout leader. Peter and Connie enjoyed dancing as members of the Tidal Waves Square Dancers and Social Dancing members of the Windport Dance Club. Peter loved hockey and especially watching Liam, Patrick and Aiden play. We had many winter picnics in the parking lots of rinks in Nova Scotia. He was also very pleased and interested in Keirsten and Brennan's learning and success at Windsor Karate Club and at the soccer field. Peter worked over 32 years at Fundy Gypsum as Drilling and Blasting Quarry Foreman. He also coached the Fundy Flyers Hockey Team. He was a forever faithful fan of the Boston Bruins hockey team.
