Delbert Reginald Hulford
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Delbert Reginald Hulford, husband of Margaret (Hindle), which occurred Friday, June 7, 2019, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, at the age 79.
Born January 18, 1940, in Sydney, he was the son of the late William and Ann (MacInnis) Hulford.
Along with his wife, Delbert is survived by his daughter, MaryAnn (Colin) MacVicar, Sydney and his son, Jamie (Holly) Hulford, Sackville, NB. He will be lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Meaghen (Peter), Andrew, Brooke, Kahlan, Dominik and Ryder. He is also survived by his in-laws, Josephine (Johnny), Caddy, Chrissie and Jackie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Billy; sisters, Florence and Beverly; sisters-in-law, Jessie and Norma; brother-in-law, Eddie.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 10 from 1-3 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 3 p.m., with Rev. Robert Lyle officiating. Interment in Sandfield Cemetery, Marion Bridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palliative Care at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia
