He was born in Sydney, NS to the late James and Jessie (Osmond) Crocket. Also left to mourn, his partner, Susan his sister Joy whom he shared a special bond. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Charles. Ken was raised in Newcastle, NB and later moved to Amherst (1968) to play junior hockey with the Ramblers. He remained a fixture in the hockey community as Head Coach for the Ramblers and many minor hockey teams including the Bantam Legionnaires which he proudly led the team to a Provincial championship. He also served as President of Amherst Minor Hockey and chaired the Bluenose Tournament. In later years, Ken was always found in the stands cheering on his grandchildren playing his favorite game. He also enjoyed watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leaf’s which he was finally able to see live. In earlier years, Ken was employed by Enheat Limited where he made many lifelong friends. He started as the mail boy and successfully became the General Manager holding many positions along the way. He later co-owned and operated AMS Building Supplies, IMS Machining. He truly enjoyed his time at the project desk and loved his Kent family. Ken enjoyed spending time with family and friends on warm summer days at his cottage. He shared many stories of fun times in Newcastle and hockey trips over the years. He could sit and talk sports for hours. Ken was loved and respected by so many.
