Hennigar, Melody Ruth - 56, of Truro passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Geraldine (Estes) Millard. Melody is survived by her son, Austin Hennigar, at home; daughter, Tamara Hennigar, Harmony; brother, Rubin (Debra) Millard, Oxford; sisters, Grace Cumming (Ken Grady), Truro; Sheila (Gary) Johnston, Bible Hill; Starlene (Doug) Chrismas, Calgary, Alberta; Valerie (Calvin) Keating, Truro Heights; Brenda (Kenny) Myres, Hilden; Cindy (Fred) Craig, Truro; Julie (Richard) Smith, Dutch Settlement; April Millard, Truro; brother-in-law, Gary Levangie, Harmony; sister-in-law, Edna (Richard) McLellan, Bible Hill; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Millard and sister, Sharon Levangie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. At Melody’s request there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held in Bible Hill Cemetery.
