WOODWORTH, Michael David - 52, South Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on September 2, 1958, in Berwick, Kings Co., he was a son to the late James and Mildred (Jamison) Woodworth. Michael was a talented and very knowledgeable carpenter, having built many houses in the Annapolis Valley. He took pride in his craftsmanship, learning from his role models, his father James and uncle Roland. Michael was involved in Scouts Canada for many years, he enjoyed cooking at the camps. He had a love for fishing and playing cards with friends and time spent with the family pet, Sammy. Michael will be greatly missed by his wife, Nancy (Trask) Woodworth; daughter, Carrie (Jevon) Arnold; son, Ryan (Tiffany), all of Berwick; brother, Charles (Maryann) Woodworth, Berwick; sisters, Marie (Charles) White, Coldbrook; Marsha (Robert) Lutz, Harbourville; and the light of his life his grandchildren, Ethan Woodworth and Carly Arnold. Cremation has taken place and there was no visitation at the funeral home. In accordance to Michael’s wishes a celebration of his life for family and friends will take place at a later date and donations in his memory may be made to the Lodge that Gives, 5826 South St., Halifax, N.S., B3H 1S6, which held a special place in his heart.
