O’HANLEY, DONALD - 1928 - 2011 - Donald O'Hanley passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital University Centre on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Born in Moncton, son of the late Roderick and Margaret (McLeod) O'Hanley. Donald was employed with T. Eaton Company for over 25 years, later owned and operated Five O' H's Ltd. with his family for over 30 years. He was an avid golfer at the Moncton Golf and Country Club for many years. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Norma (Parker) O'Hanley, three daughters; Carol O'Hanley (David Tuck), Marilyn (Allen) Hill, Patricia (Bryce) Keays, grandchildren; Lynsey, Michael, Kristopher, Jennifer and John. Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by one sister; Jean Dick, two brothers; Jack and Buddy as well as one grandson David.
Respecting the family's wishes, a private memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 2:00pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Remembrances in Donald's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Interment at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
