It is with great sadness that the family of the late Johanna (Joan) Gaulton announce her passing on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 74 years. She will be sadly missed by her son Gerard of Regina, SK; daughters: Linda (Bruce) Perrier of Kippens, Lorraine Gaulton of Kippens; brothers: Paul (Gloria) Ballett of Port au Port, Gerald (Judy) Dempsey of Kippens, Edward (Eunice) Dempsey of Ship Cove; sisters: Susan (Adolph) Schweizer of South Carolina, USA, Rita Priddy of Florida, USA, Alice (Raymond) Nale of Pennsylvania, USA, Irene (Duncan) Marche of Port au Port and a large circle of grandchildren, family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel; parents Leo and Anastasia Dempsey and sister Mary McCarthy. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East on Monday, July 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral service will take place at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Aidan Devine officiating. Interment will take place following the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Point au Mal. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
