A memorial mass for the late George MacInnis will be held in Sacred Heart Church, Johnstown, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011. George passed away in Markham Stouville Hospital on Oct. 21, 2011.
He was the son of the late John Roddie MacInnis and Anne (MacNeil) MacInnis, Sydney, formerly of Middle Cape.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Mary (Sweet); daughters, Mary (Mark), Marina Lee (Eric), Markham, Ont.; and son, Michael (Dawn), Vancouver; and grandchildren, Keith, Jessica, Morgan, Tyler and Madison.
Also left to mourn are brothers, Joe (Mary), Sydney, David (Donna), Middle Cape, Nelson (Donna), Halifax, Edward (Joanne), Sydney River, Tommy (Hilda), Brampton, Billy (Elaine), Richmond Hill, Kevin (Donna), Ben Eoin; and sisters, Dianne Morrison, Hamilton, Judy, Toronto, and Beverly (Daren White), Amherst. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as his sister-in-law, Marina Sweet.
Donations in George’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine fund in Johnstown or charity of your choice.
