Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, December 23, 2011, of Hillard Spurgeon Pridham of Alberton, age 85 years. Beloved husband of Marion Irene (nee Hardy) Pridham. Born at Montrose, P.E.I. on September 26, 1926, he was the son of the late Hudson and Beatrice (nee Leard) Pridham. Loving father to Aubrey (Lynn) Pridham of Summerside; Kathleen (John) Campbell of Alberton; Sandra (Blair) Hutt of Howie Centre, Cape Breton; and Caroline (Craig) Edgar of Moncton. Cherished Pappy to Troy (Lori) Pridham; Lori (Pat) Coyle; Cory (Dawn) Campbell; Marla (Kenny) Ramsay; Dana (Jennifer) Campbell; Jason (Laurie) Hutt; Jerilyn (James) Eddy; Melissa Edgar and CJ Edgar. Great pappy to his 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Vera (late Edwin) Hansen of Tyne valley and brother-in-law to Marie Pridham of Summerside. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by siblings: Evelyn (late Ken) Gordon, Kenneth (late Lois), Bert (late Marjory) and Reginald. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday, December 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday December 27, 2011, from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene for funeral service at 2 p.m., Pastor Eddie Rossiter officiating. Interment in the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
