At South Shore Villa, Crapaud, on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, Elva V. McAllister, formerly of Charlottetown and the Fountain Road, where she was born on Jan. 7, 1916, (aged 92 years). Daughter of the late Keir and Susie (Burgoyne) McAllister. Mother of Fenton McAllister, Lethbridge, Alta., mother-in-law of Carol Robblee (Harry), Tryon, grandmother of Albert McAllister (Darlene), North Tryon and great-grandmother of Jocelyn, Spencer and Alexa McAllister. Also surviving are numerous cousins. Predeceased by her son, Beverly, sister Gertie and brothers Mel and Borden McAllister. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in New London People's Cemetery.
