Surrounded by her family after complications from heart surgery, Roma (nee MacKinnon) MacKlem passed peacefully away on May 1, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Douglas. She is survived by her daughter Dale (husband Ken) Peers, Donna, Lisa (husband Dominic) Grace; grandchildren Kimberlee, Eric and Hayley. Survived by sisters Grace, Wanda, Eileen, Glen and brother George (Sonny) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Keith, Robert and Edward and sisters Janet, Sybil, Eunice, Myrtle, Inez and twin sister Irma. Born in 1933, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Carrie MacKinnon, formerly of Mount Pleasant. Funeral was held at the Turner & Porter Butler funeral home, Toronto.
