The death occurred suddenly as the result of a traffic accident in Wellington, P.E.I., on Saturday, June 14th, 2008, of Travis Joseph Laney of Summerside, and formerly of Stephenville, N.L., aged 27 years, and also his beloved wife, Marsha Magnolia Laney (nee Geary) of Summerside, aged 30 years. Travis was the beloved son of Ted and Marion (nee Rouzes) Laney of Port-Au-Port Peninsula, N.L., and Marsha was the beloved daughter of Ron and Sandra (nee Clow) Geary of Summerside, P.E.I. Travis and Marsha were loving parents of Jasmin, Katie and Brandon. Also lovingly remembered by Marsha's grandmothers, Rita Clow of Summerside, and Agnes Geary of Edmonton, Alta. Survived by her sisters, Shelley (Martin) Harriman of Calgary, Alta., and Lynn (Troy) Smith of Summerside, her nephew Devon and nieces Toni and Cidney Geary of Summerside along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Thursday, June 19th, for funeral service in the Church of the Nazarene, 156 Fitzroy St., Summerside, at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at People's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations in Travis and Marsha's memory to their Children's Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated.
