LOW Oct. 9, 1914 - Apr. 9, 2007 It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Amy Low (Umma) on Monday, April 9, 2007. Predeceased by brother Tom, sisters Evelyn, Pearl and Emily, and David, her devoted husband of 59 years. We know they are together again. Amy is survived by loving son Barry (Jackie), grandchildren; Darren, Richard, Jenna, great granddaughter Julia, sister-in-law Joan, brother-in-law Agnar and the Dale family. We remember the love Amy felt for her family and friends, and her ability to touch the lives of everyone she met. Amy leaves a legacy of living life to the fullest. We will miss the incredible Christmases, dinner parties, days at the golf course, card games, the weekend trips, conversations over coffee, and of course those trips to the mall. Amy's Icelandic heritage influenced many family traditions, and continues to be a source of pride for our family. Clothes, shoes and hats, collecting, cooking and sewing, laughing, and making us laugh. It will be her Amy"ness" we will miss the most. We will never forget how lucky we were to have Umma in our lives. The Low family would like to thank the staff at Overlander for the care and compassion given to Mom. Thank you Umma for the memories.
