Gosson, Mildred Mary (Parker), age 87 of Tideview Terrace , Digby passed away April 13, 2012 in the home. Mildred was born in Digby on January 16, 1925 , to the late Frederick and Marguerite (Whitty) Parker. Mildred enjoyed family, loved children, knitting , fishing, cooking and gardening. She is survived by son Richard (Lynn) Gosson, Ontario; daughters Veronica (Daniel) Amero and Anna (Daniel) Theriault both of Digby; sisters Elizabeth Parker, Digby; Bernice Everette and June Mapes both of Ontario; grandchildren Joseph, Malcolm, Wanda Amero, Michelle and Melissa Theriault, and Vanessa and Tanya Gosson, 9 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, brothers Garfield, Richard, and sisters Marguerite and Mary. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday from Jayne’s Funeral Home 7 Birch St. Digby. Father Keith Billard will officiate with burial in the Gosson Family Cemetery, Plympton.
