The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Sunday, April 22, 2012 of Mary J. Currie (nee MacDonald) of Rocky Point, age 84 years.
Beloved wife of the late Spurgeon R. Currie, and dear mother of Richard (Denyse), Betty (Larry) Shaw, Roger (Sally), and Stephen (Darlene). She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Stephen, Jeffrey (Mel) and Christine (Evan) Currie, Chris (Rhea) and Nicholas (Mel) Gaudet, Ryan (Jolene) Currie and Katherine (Dustin) Hill, Kimberlee and Allison Brown, Tara (Matt) Perry, Erin and Jamie (Bethany) Currie, son-in-law Mike Brown, and 3 great-grandchildren Connor, Chase and Claire. She was predeceased by her parents James and Islay (MacEachern) MacDonald, and daughter Lynn Brown.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in New Dominion Church Cemetery.
