LESLIE JEAN WEBER HALL

Lieu de naissance : Vancouver, Colombie Britannique, Canada
Date de naissance : 13 octobre 1953

Lieu de décès : Kamloops, Colombie Britannique, Canada
Date de décès : 2 mars 2012

Leslie ---- joyful, spontaneous, kind, fun-loving, mischievous, adventurous, compassionate...oh, what a smile and those giggles...

Leslie was born and raised in the Vancouver area. A "Crofton House" girl, she learned and practiced two important life-long lessons: friendship was to be cherished and strength comes from being a part of one's community. As a young woman, she ventured into business and had a successful career, particularly with Vancouver Business Forms, a family owned company since 1917. The clients Leslie valued the most were the charitable organizations.

Leslie's love of animals, both large and small, set her on the path to a country life. She lived in the Fraser Valley and then moved to Kamloops to enjoy wide-open spaces and her horses. Leslie spent 20 years in the Barnhartvale community. She focused on family life, giving birth to her daughter Hilary in 1993.

Over time, she became interested in obtaining a personal training certification which lead her to yoga. Leslie was certified with SOYA and IYTA and had a passion for everything she was learning. She taught in her own studio, the Mandala Center. Many loyal students and friends have said that her classes changed their lives.

Leslie was also an explorer, visiting India, France, Spain, New York, New Mexico and the California coast. But her home was the special place, filled with cats, dogs, birds...it was affectionately dubbed the "zoo". In the last few years, her love of horses returned and she rode her beloved Soley and Teddy at Three Hills Ranch.

Left to mourn are her loving daughter Hilary Weber Hall, her father Ronald Weber, her aunt Jean Weber, her sister Nancy Arbuckle (John), her brother Brian Thomsett (Shirley), her aunt Diane Gleig and her cousin Bruce Gleig (Cheryl, Anna and Fraser). Predeceased by Hilary's father, Robert M. Hall.

Leslie's last weeks in Kamloops were difficult, but great comfort and love were provided by Hilary, Nancy, John, Brian and Bruce, along with her friends Holly, Laura, Sheila and Tigist. We thank all the people who cared for Leslie with thoughtfulness and compassion, including the staff at Dr. Paul Klimo's Medical Oncology Clinic at Lions Gate Hospital and Kamloops Naturopathic Clinic, and the staff and volunteers at Kamloops Hospice. Thank you Dr. Klimo, Dr. Smiljanic, Dr. Jones and Faye Tham...you gave her such special care and support.

A Celebration of Leslie's Life will occur at Three Hills Ranch - 2130 Pratt Rd, Barnhartvale, Kamloops, BC on Saturday, May 12th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to SPCA Kamloops, Dr. Paul Klimo's Medical Oncology Clinic at Lions Gate Hospital or Kamloops Hospice.
