Lieu de décès : Colombie Britannique, Canada

ALICE MOLLIE FLEMING ALICE MOLLIE FLEMING born July 8th, 1917 died November 9, 2007 in her 91st year. Mollie was born in Grande Prairie, BC (Westwold) to Victor and Mona Whiting. As a youngster she spent many happy days at her grandparents Albert and Edith Duck's Holmwood Ranch. She completed her schooling in Kamloops and accepted work in Vanderhoof where she met and married Tom Fleming. They returned to Kamloops where she raised her family, continued her working career and became active in politics. A move to Vancouver Island in the sixties was where she chose to retire. Her desire to return to Kamloops 14 years ago led her to rediscover her artistic talents. She sketched the hills and mountains of Kamloops from her "million dollar view" condo on Braeview Place. Mollie was predeceased by husband Tom, her parents, sisters Joan, Joyce, Evelyn, and granddaughter Kathy. She is survived by daughters Barrie Brown, Grande Prairie, AB, Toni Gannon (Dan Folk) of Kamloops and Lynne (Ken) Moyer of Chase, grandchildren Kelly, Lani, Leigh, Kevin, Kerry, Karen, Kent, Trevor, Tracy, Susan, 18 great grandchildren as well as her brother Bob and sisters Diana and Anne. Her sense of humour, quick wit and strong opinions will be cherished by her family. Interment to take place at Westwold at a later date. Words cannot express our gratitude to the staff of RIH 3 South for their caring and kindness during mother's short stay. Staff and volunteers at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice gave comfort, kindness and care beyond belief during her final days. We are forever grateful. Donations to RIH Foundation, the Kamloops Hospice Association or a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated. Kamloops Funeral Home 554-2577
