Yorke, Lewis A. – 61, of Amherst, and formerly of Fox River, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his home in Amherst. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late John and Kathleen (Lake) Yorke. He is survived by sisters, Maureen Mills, Spencer’s Island; Mary Yorke, Maccan; a brother, Robert Yorke (Maureen), Parrsboro; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Sally and Christine. Funeral 2 p.m. on Friday [May 18, 2012] at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Fox River, Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
