Quinn, Edith (nee Forsythe)--R.N. 1911-2012 - Edith, daughter of Howard and Nellie Forsythe, Greenwich, Nova Scotia, passed away on June 22, 2012 at the Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph. She was in her 101st year. She is predeceased by her husband James (1972) and her sister Laura Forsythe. Edith is survived by her brother, Reginald; sons Doug (Burnaby, B.C.) and Morris (Calgary); daughter Penny Irish(Guelph)and families. Edith attended school in Greenwich and Wolfville Nova Scotia. She graduated from Mack's Business College, Kentville and the School of Nursing at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Greenwich United Church. She spent most of her life in Nova Scotia, some years in British Columbia and her remaining years in Guelph. Her heart belonged to Nova Scotia. Edith lived long and fully. She will be missed by friends and family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph.
