Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s on Friday July 6, 2012, Marie Downey aged 76 years of Clarenville formerly of Arnold’s Cove. Predeceased by her parents Annie & Walter Rose; sister Sadie Best; brothers George, Francis, Perry and Gerald. Left to mourn are her loving and devoted children & grandchildren; Ruby (Scott) Reid, Francis (Kim) Downey, Cheyanne (Joe) Thorne, Sadie (Mervin) Reid, six grandchildren Nicholas, Hillary, Tyler, Jody (Robyn), Shaleen, Cody; one great grandson, Landon; brother Eric Rose (Lena). A private family funeral service has taken place with burial at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold’s Cove.
