Martha Pelletier
PELLETIER, MARTHA (O’NEILL) - Martha Pelletier, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Spencer Memorial Home surrounded by the caring staff that looked after her so well. Born July 18, 1922 in Gagetown, NB, she was raised and educated in Saint John, NB. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Louise (Matthews) O'Neill. She attended St. Augustine's Church and was a member of the Seniors Club. She served with the RCAF during WWII and was a former employee of Eaton's. Martha will be sadly missed by her three children: Lamont "Monty" Pelletier (Bernice) of Dartmouth, Lea Louise Pelletier and Beth Savoie (Stephen), both of Moncton; five grandchildren: Mandy, Ewan, Philip, Amanda and Sheena; three great grandchildren: Emma, Jaiden and Kaila, all of whom she loved greatly; two sisters: Helen Lawless (late Ralph) and Joan Murchland (Bernie), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Edward,her husband of 68 years and by two sisters: Brenda Forester (Jack) and Mary Wetmore (Harry).
At her request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's R.C. Church, Moncton, on Thursday July 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall. In memory of Martha, a contribution to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
