Lieu de décès : Colombie Britannique, Canada

DARCY LYNNE PROVENCAL On Tuesday, December 9, 2008, Darcy was taken from us leaving a large void for all who knew her. She was a loving wife, buddy and business partner to Rick, mother to Troy, Jill and Kara, and grandmother to Robbie. She also leaves to mourn, her parents Judy and Palmer Snortheim and brother Aaron, mother and father-in-law Eddie and Rocky Provencal, brothers-in-law Larry (Johanna) and Gerald, and sisters-in-law Georgina (Bob) and Sherry (Vern). A number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews will miss her as will a large number of friends, business associates and everyone who knew her. She was fondly known as the ”Queen” and that she was, a lady with class always ready with a big hug and bringing out the best in everyone. She enjoyed her life to the fullest, surrounded by friends tackling everything at full throttle and entertaining as the best hostess. Her decorating touch was evident in all her homes in Surrey, in Kamloops, at the Shuswap, at Sun Peaks, and even in the little log cabin at Akehurst which she loved so dearly. We remember her competitive skills playing king’s cribbage and scrabble. Darcy was born in Edmonton, Alberta on August 18, 1962 and after graduating and pursuing a career in cosmetic sales, she married Rick and moved to Surrey where they continued in the pharmaceutical industry. She was an avid baseball player coaching Troy’s team for a number of years. She enjoyed the outdoor life and the night life and all the water sports at the Shuswap. Darcy had her own business, however her life was assisting Rick with his and also accompanying him on numerous hunting and fishing trips all over Canada. Darcy was very happy with their recent move to Kamloops and looked forward to some quieter times with family and friends. A Celebration of Darcy’s life will be held at the Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way, Kamloops, B.C. at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2008. The family requests that any expressions of sympathy be donated to the M.S. Society at #180 - 546 St. Paul Street, Kamloops, B.C. V2C 5T1 or online at www.mssociety.ca Arrangements entrusted to Schoening Funeral Service, Kamloops, phone 250-374-1454
