CANNING, MARGUERITE A. – 57, of Amherst and formerly of Parrsboro passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at home. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Dwight and Marion (Barrett) Canning. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy, Truro; a nephew, John (Amanda), Amherst; two great-nieces. Visitation will be held 12 - 2 p.m. on Saturday [September 1, 2012] in Highway Pentecostal Church, Parrsboro, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Henry Devito officiating.
