The death occurred in Gatineau, PQ, on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, of Yves Gaetan Bergevin, age 85.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pierette; and daughters, Johanne (Robert) Irwin of Charlottetown; Francine (Sylvain) LaCourse of Alymer, PQ; and Danielle (Pierre) Scott, also of Aylmer. He is also survived by eight cherished grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. at Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit, La Maison, Mathieu–Froment-Savoie, in Gatineau (www.mmfs.org) would be most appreciated.
