RIOUX, GEORGINE - At Tobique Valley Manor, Plaster Rock, February 15, 2013, Mrs. Georgine Catherine (Albert) Rioux of New Denmark passed away peacefully. She was the wife of Wilfred Rioux whom she married June 29, 1946. Born at Bell Grove, NB in 1929, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Lucien Albert and of the late Carrie Georgine Rasmussen. Georgine was a pastoral agent for the Assumption Parish of Blue Bell for many years. She is survived by her husband Wilfred, four children, Randall (Laura) Rioux of Grand Falls, Jocelyn (John) Green of Perth-Andover, Joanne (Ivan) Girouard of Fredericton and Jamis (Janet) Rioux of Red Deer, Alberta, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Shirley (Elven) Hollins of Fredericton and Marilyn Albert of Lunenberg, NS, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Glendon Rioux and David Rioux, brother, Junior Albert.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls where visiting hours will be on Tuesday, February 19th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20th at 2 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Blue Bell with Father Gilbert Doddatto and Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
