SHEPHARD, WINNIFRED (SPEIGHT) - Peacefully, with her family by her side, Winnie passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital. Much beloved mom of Ken Speight (Lisa) and Karen Paul (Jeff), grandma to Alexandra, Daniel, Mitchell and Evan. Loving sister to Carol McNally, Mary Donovan (Tim), Agnes Landry (Bob) and Art (Dorothy), all of New Brunswick. She leaves behind several nieces, nephews and friends. Winnie was predeceased by her parents, Carroll Arthur and Agnes Marie (Kerrigan) Shephard; and her sister, Gladys Shephard.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Winnie's life at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Monday, June 10, from 2 to 4 pm. The family would like to thank the staff of 6 Northwest at the Ottawa General for their kindness and compassion. Donations to the Canadian Lung Association in her memory would be appreciated.
