Suddenly, at his home, on Monday, August 5, 2013 of Sidney Thomas Gavin, of 366 Broderick Road, Tignish, in his 54th year.
Beloved husband to Donna (nee Gaudette) Gavin. Cherished father to Mallory, Fraser and Michelle.
Born on May 12, 1960 he was the son of the late Wilson and Gertrude (nee McInnis) Gavin. Dear brother to Stafford (Eileen) of Sea Cow Pond, Billy (Patsy) of Sea Cow Pond, Barbara Anne Taylor of Moncton, Leigh (Rose) of Sea Cow Pond and Kenny (Paula) of Christophers Cross. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Gail Gaudette, Floyd and Betty Anne Gaudette, Lynn and Michael Dorgan, Michael and CarolAnne Gaudette, Rodney and Sheila Gaudette, and Howard and Janie Marie Shea. He will be sadly missed by his aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Marion Gaudette; brother-in-law, William Taylor; and by niece, Ray Anne Dorgan.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral on Thursday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 4 p.m. Rev. Brendon Gallant officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
