We regret to announce the passing of our much loved son, James Franklin Tarr on Oct. 2, 2013, at home.
He is survived by his loving parents, Cheryl Moore-Tarr and Kenneth Tarr; his grandmother, Vera Moore, as well as a large extended loving family.
He was predeceased by his twin brother and best friend, Philip Robert Tarr, grandparents, "Nanny" Vivian and Frank Tarr, grandfather, "Papa" Robert Moore.
James was a talented artist, musician and tattoo artist. He was a tender and compassionate person, especially toward cats, and along with his Mom nursed many strays to health over the years.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. A reception to follow. A private family burial in Hardwood Hill Cemetery at a later date.
