The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, of Mrs. Edna Isabelle Steele (nee Wooldridge) of Charlottetown, age 79 years.
Beloved wife of the late James “Jimmy” Steele and dear mother of Sheila French and Wayne Folsom Wooldridge. She is also survived by two loving grandsons, William and Jason French. Sister of Lena Morris, Cecelia MacLean, Flora Mullen, Doris Birt and Rennie Wooldridge. She was predeceased by her sisters: Olga Jay, Nora Jay, Evelyn Fraser and Rennie Wooldridge, and brothers: Bruce, Leith and Russell Wooldridge.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where a private service will be held. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, Souris. There will be no visitation by request.
If so desired, contributions in Edna’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
