Gabriel Knorr

KNORR, GABRIEL - Gabriel Wilford Knorr of Central Blissville, NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 2, 2013. Gabe was born on September 30, 1918 to the late Albert and Mary (Ward) Knorr. Gabe worked many years at F.C. Alexander saw mill. He spent the later part of his career with the Department of Transportation and retired as a Bridge Forman. Gabe was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to share his stories. He also enjoyed working in his large gardens, growing vegetables right up until 2012. Gabe is survived by his son Kenneth (Delcine) Knorr, daughter Catherine (Robert) Scovil, brother-in-law John Smith, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and five nephews. Besides his parents, Gabe is predeceased by his wife Mildred (Pugh) Knorr, three sisters: Pauline Knorr, Gladys Maddeaux and Patricia Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to family on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be from St. Lukes Anglican Church in Hoyt on Tuesday, November 5th at 11am with Bishop George Lemmon officiating. Interment will be in St Lukes Anglican Cemetery.
