Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital Summerside, with her loving family by her side, on Friday October 4, 2013 of Vivian G. Fyfe of Stanley Bridge aged 71 years. Born in Hunter River on February 6, 1942 daughter of the late David and Elsie (Spence) Edwards. Wife of J. Donald Fyfe. Mother of Dean Fyfe, Stanley Bridge; Shannah Heaney, Clinton and Lorie Fyfe (Lorne Browne) Inuvik, NWT. Survived by grandchildren Kathleen Heaney, Ottawa, Ontario and Kristen Heaney, Clinton and their father Edison Heaney. Sister of Joyce MacKinnon (late Jim), Summerside. Sister-in-law of Annie Lee (Elmer) MacDonald, Augustine Cove; Mary (Francis) Moase, Cascumpec and Beryl Fyfe, Summerside.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Evelyn (Russell) Smith and Jean (Elmer) MacDonald and father-in-law and mother-in-law Elmer and Hilda Fyfe. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington where a private family service will be held on Tuesday. No visitation by personal request. Interment in the Cavendish Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be made to the Cavendish Cemetery Fund or the Palliative Care Unit of Prince County Hospital. The family will receive friends at the Sterling Women’s Institute Hall, Stanley Bridge on Tuesday October 8th, at 1 p.m. for a time of sharing memories and food.
