BAILEY, HELEN - Helen Evelyn Bailey, 97, of Dartmouth, passed away January 8, 2014 after a short illness. She was born in Goldenville, N.S. On November 10, 1916. the daughter of the late James and Maggie MacEachern and predeceased by her loving husband Ralph Bailey, in 2008. She was a devoted and loving mother to son, Jim and daughter-in-law Barb (Giles), Dartmouth and daughter Janet and son-in-law Ron Buckley, Quispamsis, N.B. She was especially proud of her grandchildren Nicola, Robin, Tatum and Ben and grandson-in-law Matt McCully who all loved her dearly. Helen was a thoughtful and loyal friend to many, especially her sisters of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority for 54 years. Helen was a hard worker and was a dental assistant for Dr. Lubetsky for many years. She enjoyed her long life, rich in travel, music and family love. Helen had a deep faith in God and enjoyed church activities including choir and bowling throughout the years. She will be deeply missed by her extended family in New Brunswick. The family want to extend a heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care and concern provided by the nursing team of 3E Dartmouth General.
