GODIN, ANNA-MARIE - (1918 - 2014) - Anna-Marie Godin, formerly of Moncton (Manoir Notre-Dame) and Campbellton, passed away on January 25, 2014, at the age of 95, at Villa Providence Shediac. Born on July 23, 1918 in Pokemouche, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Majorique and Émilie (Allard) Godin. She was predeceased by her six sisters: Laura McCarthy, Angélie Godin, Alice Boudreau, Maria Gionet, Julienne Snow and Gabrielle Arseneau, and her two brothers: Théophile Godin and Émile Godin. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, whom she cherished as her own children. She will be remembered for her joie de vivre, her generosity and her gratefulness. Always the life of the party and a magician with the piano and the accordion, she brought sunshine to every heart.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at a later date in Moncton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Center, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900).
