Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, Judith Yvonne Byrd age 67 years. Predeceased by her parents: Clyde and Annie Heath; sister Una Davis (George); brothers-in-law: Ches Vincent, Gordon Henderson and Edmund Smith; father-in-law Jacob Smith. Leaving to mourn her husband Gordon Smith; children: Kim Forward (Scott), Jason Byrd (Heather), Kelly Byrd, Debbie Byrd and Amanda Dodge (Trevor); grandchildren: Zachary, Logan and Hudson; Krista, Vanessa, and Madelyne; David and Samantha; Tyler; Cody, Gabriel and Brook; great grandchildren: Olivia and Ryder; brothers and sisters: Beth Henderson, Jean Vincent, Cyril Heath (Matilda), Ed Heath (Sylvia), Douglas Heath (Sheila), Gord "Butch" Heath (Patsy), Wayne Heath (Pauline); mother-in-law Annie Smith; sisters-in-law: Gloria Ryan (Gord) and Jackie Rockwood (Terry); also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9pm and then on Thursday from 10am-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow the service.
