Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Saturday, March 8, 2014, of Mrs. Mary C. MacRae (nee Gallant) of Charlottetown.
Beloved wife of J. Kenny MacRae and dear mother of Ken (Audra) MacRae, Rob-deceased (Valerie) MacRae and Blair (Renilda) MacRae. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Kayla and Joel, Ryan, and Krysta and Nicholas MacRae; brothers and sisters, Joe (Glenda) Gallant, Phyllis (Jack - deceased) MacDougall, Jack (Freda) Gallant, Elmer (Glenda) Gallant, Billy (Dianne) Gallant and Allan Gallant. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret (nee Cheverie) Gallant; her son, Rob and her sister, Irene Jenkins.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday morning then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the P.E.I. Lung Association. Visiting hours on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Members of the Catholic Womens League will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
