Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Elliot Blair Ellis, of Georgetown, devoted husband of Rachael Gallant, occurred on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
Born in Bathurst, N.B., he was the son of the late George Eldon and Elizabeth (Morrison) Ellis. Besides his wife, Rachael, Elliot is survived by his loving children, Laurie (Dave) Riedel, Patrick (Tammy) Ellis, Elaine (Jason) Martell and Dwayne Ellis; brothers and sisters, Janet (Paul) Rattray, Blaine (Joyce) Ellis, Murray (Penny) Ellis, Cheryl (Dennis) Braun, Cairne (Grant) Fraser, Darlene (Robert) Wilks, Daphne (Ian) Strom, Stephen (Diane) Ellis; cherished grandchildren, Christian MacMillan, Christina Ellis, Kaila Riedel, Connor Ellis; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a infant sister, Faith, and a brother, Alfred. Elliot will be greatly missed by all of his New Brunswick families, and for all that came to know and love him.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Monday, March 31, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A private family service to take place at a later date.
