Arenburg, Paul Everett – 77 of Digby, formerly of Berwick, passed away Saturday March 29, 2014 at Digby General Hospital. Born in North River, he was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn (Lowe) Arenburg. Paul drove a truck for Eassons Transport in Berwick for over thirty years. He took pride caring for his home and enjoyed working on the lawn and garden. Paul enjoyed camping and wood working. He loved his dog, Beau. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father and grandfather. Paul is survived by sons, Darren, Doha Qatar, Kevin, Vancouver, BC.; daughters, Elaine Burke, Edmonton, AB., Kelly Patterson, Berwick; partner, Zita Comeau; sisters, Phyllis Kelsen, Ottawa, Alice Daigle, Berwick, Shirley Arenburg, Toronto, Mabel (Carroll) Llewellyn, Berwick, Joyce Redden, New Minas; grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Steven and Gordon. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3rd at Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel, 192 Commercial St., Berwick (902-538-9900). A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 4th at Berwick United Church, Reverend Tom Woods officiating. Interment followed in Berwick Cemetery. A reception followed in the church hall.
