MOURANT, JOSEPH EMERY - (1945 - 2014) - Pickering, Ontario - Emery Mourant, 69, of Pickering, Ontario passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer in the Lake Ridge Hospital in Oshawa, Ontario on July 11, 2014. Born in Minto, NB on May 11, 1945, he was the son of the late John Mourant and late Melina (Boucher) Mourant of Rexton, NB. Emery left Rexton at an early age and spent most of his life in the Toronto area working at various jobs mostly as a truck driver. He leaves to mourn his first wife, Irene Beauchamp and his four children John, David, Michael, and Tammy as well as two stepsons Robert and George and his grandchildren living all in the Toronto area. He is also survived by his three brothers, Joseph (Marie-Stella), Robert (Darlene), Paul (Denise) and nine sisters, Jeannette Little (Dwight), Jeanne Boudreau (Bernard), Camillia Mazerolle (Gerard), Linda Fagan (Edward), Corinne McAuley (late Reginald), Anne-Marie Mulock (Wayne), Cecile Thompson (John), Elizabeth Williton (John), and Yvonne Fagan (Raymond) all from the Rexton area. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his second wife, Linda (Norton), his brother John Jr. , infant brother James and brother in law Reg McAuley.
