HUTCHINS, ELVA LUELLA - It is with heavy hearts the family of Elva L. Hutchins, beloved wife of Robert M. Hutchins, announce her passing on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Head of Millstream, New Brunswick on January 22, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Helen (Hayes) and Arthur Cosman. In addition to her husband, Robert, Elva will be missed by her daughter Susan Hayward (Michael) of Oshawa, ON; grandchildren Erik and Owen Hayward; two brothers Reg Cosman (Rita) of Head of Millstream and Bert Cosman (Velma) of Ottawa, ON; a sister Eileen Cosman of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and her son, Randy Hutchins.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A celebration of Elva’s life will follow immediately in Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Head of Millstream, at a later date.
