FENTON, VAUGHN CONRAD - 1933 - 2014 - Vaughn C. Fenton of Riverview passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Lawson and Zora (Layton) Fenton. Vaughn was well known as (The Old Man) of the Maintenance Department at The Moncton Hospital from where he had retired following a 37 year career. He will always be remembered for his unique since of humour and how he loved harassing and teasing folks, an avid animal lover and a true outdoorsman at heart who loved to hunt, go out on his four wheeler and in his spare time tinker around with cars. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Barbara (Longstaff), daughters; Lisa Fenton (Colleen Whelan) of Annapolis Valley and Lana Fenton of Moncton, step daughter, Deborah Lewanzick (Martin) of Calgary, son, Todd of Orillia, ON, Alan of Barrrie, ON, step son, Tony Beaumont (affectionately known as Meat Head), sister, Gloria Glendinning (Bill) of Moncton and brother, Robert (Prudy) of Moncton, grandchildren; Vaughn Jr., Hannah and Zane as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a step daughter, Bonnie Joyce Beaumont and a brother, Donald.
The family would like to extend an invitation for friends, colleagues and relatives to join them between the hours of 2 to 4 PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, for a time to share and celebrate Vaughn’s Life at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007), The interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
