LENT, Donald Eric – age 60 of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia passed away on November 29, 2014 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 26, 1954 in Yarmouth, he was the son of the late Frank and Mabel Lent (Crosby). Don is survived by his wife Karen Lent (Vantassell); brother Bob (Bev) Kingston, Ontario; David (Emily); sister Clairse Diggins (David), Middleton NS; several nieces, nephews and cousins; also mother-in-law Mabel Vanatassell, brother-in-law Michael (Zeta) and sisters-in-law Marlene, and Loretta . Predeceased by brother Harry. Don worked for Germains for 25 years as a journeyman plumber and worked for other local companies in Yarmouth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Chapel, Yarmouth. Funeral service was held Wednesday December 3, 2014 at 10:00am from Sweenys Funeral Chapel, Rev. Larry Pennell officiated. A special thanks to everyone who helped in the care of Don during his illness. Family flowers only.
