Emery Daigle
DAIGLE, EMERY (1940 - 2014) SAINT-CHARLES, NB - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emery Daigle wishes to announce his passing at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at the age of 74. Emery was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He was born in Saint-Charles on August 9, 1940, to the late Laurent and Dorina (Vautour) Daigle. Emery will be sadly missed by his wife Noëlla (Godin) Daigle; three children, Sylvie Cormier (Allain) of St-Ignace, Daniel Daigle (Linda LeBouthillier) of Saint-Charles, Carole Daigle (Blaine Anthony) of Moncton; four grandchildren, Jean-Sebastian, Julie-Pier, Isabelle and Maxime. He is also survived by four sisters; Doris Vienneau (Gerald Johnson), Léona Lebel (Gilles) both of Saint-Charles, Aline Allain (Bernard) of Richibucto, Jeannine Daigle of Saint-Charles; two brothers, Ernest (Marie-Paule), Armand (Dianne) both of Saint-Charles and several nieces and nephews. Emery was a loving father whose benevolence and kindness towards his family and friends will never be forgotten. He was well known throughout the community as a man who loved people, and who would generously lend a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed everyday to the fullest, spending most of his time outside, grooming his land and fixing anything in need of repair. He was employed by the Department of transportation and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. His biggest passion, that being a love of music, filled his heart for life.
Visitation will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Monday at noon until the departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm, Saint-Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church, Saint Charles. Interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto. In memory of Emery, donations may be made to the Tree of Hope. The family wishes to thank the medical team of unit 4C and the personnel of the palliative care unit of the CHU of Dr-Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
