VENIOT, MARY "MAE" ALICE - It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary "Mae" Alice Veniot, wife of Elmer Veniot, which occurred at her residence on Thursday, December 26th 2014. Mae was born April 14th,1943 in Whitneyville, New Brunswick to the late Mabel (Sherwood) and Harvey MacKay. Mae was a very generous, caring and kind lady. She shared a love for her family and animals, especially, Chico the dog. Mae enjoyed playing Darts at the Buffalo Club in uptown Saint John. January 22nd, 2015, Mary and Elmer would have celebrated their 50th year of marriage. Besides her husband, Elmer, Mae is survived by her sister Donna Cullen of Saint John, NB, sister in law, Terrie (Gary) Briston of Ontario and Nephew Tim (Wendy) and their children Devon and Fynn; Nieces, Cindy (Carey) and their children Carey, Amanda and special friend, Sheila (Stephen). Mae will be especially missed and remembered by her special little buddy Skylar. Besides her parents, Mary is predeceased by her brothers; Doug, Jim, Birdey, Ray and Charles, sisters; Lynn, Marilyn and Bonnie.
Arrangements in the care of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Mae's wishes, no formal visitation or funeral service will be held. A private family interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be placed towards the S.P.C.A or the Canadian Cancer Society.
