The family regrets to announce the passing of Deborah, on December 28, 2014 at her home in Dartmouth, surrounded by family.
Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Cyril and Isabel (Young) Kemp. Debbie was a graduate of St. Pat's High School and Mount Saint Vincent University, class of 1973, and a long-time member of NSGEU.
She is survived by her husband, Angus; son, Michael, and daughter, Kathryn; her sisters, Carla (Steve) Jones and Theresa (John) Bachynski, both of Halifax; nephews, Ryan (Jennifer) Trudel, Nick Trudel, Mark Bachynski, Stephen Bachynski; and grandniece, Vivien Trudel. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Diane Trudel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 1, from 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Funeral mass will take place on Friday, January 2, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Parish, 10 Maple Street, Dartmouth, Father Jim Richards officiating.
