Passed peacefully away on December 21, 2014 at the Dr. GB Cross Memorial Hospitalage of 77 years. Beloved Husband to Florence (Soper), Loving Father to Son Norman (Cynthia) of CBS, Daughter Nancy (Jim Squibb) of Clarenville, Son Neil (Linda) Lloydminster, AB. Daughter, Natalie (Daniel Moody) of Clarenville, Son David (Lisa), Fort McMurray, AB . Precious Grandfather to his sweeties Leslie Higdon, Taylor Higdon, Emma Squibb, Sara Squibb, Kaylah Higdon and his buddies Nicholas Moody, Andrew Moody. Special Brother to Mervyn (Yvonne), Doug (Shirley), Audrey (Buster),Greta (Don) and brother-in law to Augustine (Clyde), Mary (Patrick) and Gladys.Nieces, nephews and wide circle of family and friends. Predeceased by his father Hayward, mother Fanny,brother Donald and brother-inlaw Lloyd. Special thanks to the staff at the Health Science Center ambulatory day care, Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Center and the Dr. GBCross Memorial Hospital. At his request cremation has taken place. Visitation took place at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Clarenville Memorial United Church.
