Aged 88 years. Peacefully at Scarboro General Hospital, Scarboro, ON, Sunday, January 18, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Dear wife of Gerard (formerly of South Rustico). Dear mother of Steven, David (Doris), Lynne MacDougall (Gord), Dr. Linda (Ken Zapp); 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Survived by brothers and sisters: Rod (Joyce), Shirley Burke, Alex, Donald (Sharon), Tom, Heather (Fred) Currie; sisters-in-law, Ellen (Wilf) Gladys (Bill), Alice Doucette, S. Rustico and Bernadette (Mario Cernavez), Oshawa; brothers-in-law, John Pineau (Inez) and Alyre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Wilfred B. and Helen A. Burke (nee Lawson); brothers, Bill, Wilfred, Dave, Moe, Dr. Frank, Gerard, and brother-in-law, John Jewell.
