Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Friday, February 13, 2015, of Cecil Maynard Foy, of Tryon, age 82 years. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris (nee Mayhew) Foy. Wonderful father of Carol (Sam) Walsh, Heather (Eric) Rogers, Gary Foy, Kathy (Peter) Norring and Kevin Foy. Special grampy to Robyn (Andrew) MacKay, Jeremy (Melanie) Rogers, Matthew Walsh, Angela Rogers, Kelsey (Kayla) Norring, Jenna (Bryon) White, Cody Foy, Nicole Norring and Nathan Foy. Great-grampy to Stephanie, Thatcher, Austin, Gabrielle, Bentley, Everleigh, Isabelle and Keigan. Also survived by sisters and brothers Betty Gass, Marion McGhie, Ralph Foy, Louise Walker, Keith (Janet) Foy, Percy (Eva) Foy, Lorne Foy, Mary Ferguson, Ruth Walsh, sisters-in-law Helen Foy, Anne Mayhew, Marlene MacAusland and brothers-in-law Carl Mayhew, Jack (Debra) Mayhew, Gordon (Joyce) Mayhew, and Lorne Mayhew. Predeceased by his parents Maynard and Emma (Howatt) Foy, brother Theo, brothers-in-law Lester Gass, Roy McGhie, Gordon Walker, Richard Ferguson, Vernon Walsh, Lloyd Mayhew, and Alvin MacAusland, sisters-in-law Adelee Foy and Audrey Foy, nephews Ronnie, Dennis, Dougie and niece Patricia Foy. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visitation on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 4-7 p.m. Funeral service from South Shore United Church, Tryon, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to PCH Foundation.
