STEEVES, WADE LESTER
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, on April 25, 2015, Wade Lester Steeves went to be with the Lord “Absent from the body, present with the Lord”. He was born in Hillsborough, NB on March 15, 1925, the son of Della and Winnett Steeves.
He had a long career with the NB Telephone Company, retiring in 1984 after 42 years.
He will be missed by his wife of 67 years, Jean (Stoddard) and his daughters, Karen and Janice Steeves. Wade was predeceased by his only brother Creighton Kendall Steeves.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB. Visiting will take place on Tuesday, April 28 from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 29 at 2:00 PM from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel with Dr. Bruce Hayhoe officiating.
If so desired, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Salisbury Road, Moncton, NB on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM. www.BrenansFH.com.
