Gordon’s lifelong passion was motor vehicles; especially antique cars. As active members of the P.E.I. Antique Car Club, Gordon and Celia enjoyed going for an “outing” in one of the antique cars, including the 1964 Mercury Comet Convertible and the VW “Bug”. Later in life, Gordon was excited to once again possess a 1929 Durant Roadster. On the occasion of his 90th birthday celebration held at the farm in Hazelbrook, Gordon requested that people attending the birthday party bring their antique car, which many did. Now Dad has taken his final drive on a new highway Beyond the Sunset.
