Passed away peacefully in Ajax, Ontario on October 16, 2015, after an 11-year battle with cancer. Pat was 67 years old. Pat was born on December 11, 1947 in Colliers, Conception Bay, Newfoundland. Predeceased by parents James and Joanna McGrath (Colliers, NL), sister Bridget (James) Griffin (Colliers, NL), brothers-in-law Charles Conner (Pensacola, FL) and Richard Dillon (Ajax, ON). Left behind to mourn are son Sandy (Michelle), siblings Ronald (Geraldine) (Colliers, NL), Margaret (Pensacola FL), Shirley (Donny) (Port Hope, ON), Aggie (Ajax, ON), Edwina (Maurice) (Colliers, NL), brother-in-law Patrick Ryan (Oshawa, ON) and a large circle of nieces of nephews. Fondly remembered by brothers and sisters of Ironworkers Local 721 of Ontario and all his friends at Greenwood Towers. Special thanks to Dr. Lui and Dr. Disperati of TEGH for the excellent care provided to Patrick for the past 11 years. Thanks also to Dr T. Vu and Allison Riddell-Vu for the excellent care they provided to Patrick at home in Ajax. Cremation has taken place at Pat's request. Visitation at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, Ontario, 905-428-8488, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 1:30-2:30 pm, followed by a memorial service and reception.
